Dear Mr. President

Dear Mr. President: I suggest that you rename the department of homeland security into the department of Homeland Insecurity, because scaring people seems to be what it does best. Today at 1 p.m., Hudson County set off its terrorism sirens. It scared the hell out of nearly everybody who heard it, even though it was announced earlier in newpapers -- including the one I work for. This is the quality of people we have looking after us? We get sirens on the day you and your friends have ranted on about us getting attacked by terrorists? It is no wonder we didn't stop 9/11 before it happened with people like this running security for us. We used to get red and yellow alerts, which had no purpose except to scare us more since none of us could do anything about it. Now we get crediable threats we are helpless to do anything about. All you seem to be accomplishing with any of this is to do the terrorists' work and create fear in the public. We don't have to fear fear itself, we have to fear homeland security and you.

Idiots in Hudson County set off sirens

For more than a week, the president, Homeland Security, the mayor of New York and others are telling us to watch out, we may have a terrorist attack on 9/11. So OEM in Hudson County sets off the terrorism sirens to honor those who died on 9/11. They announced ahead of time, of course, but most people didn't know about it. They did the same stupid thing last year. You have to wonder what these fools are thinking?
